hi to all of you fella members of UCPROwe have just launched a web based tournament management application at i-Tourney.com
i-Tourney is an innovative new web-based tournament management application. Allowing you to organize tournaments and competitions easier than ever before -- just the way you want to. From drafting teams to updating results, i-Tourney was built with simplicity in mind, and just as importantly, doing it with style. From our innovative management interface, you can reduce the overall time spent organizing the tournament -- which leaves more time to the important things, such as participating in it!
the idea of making this website actually came across my mind when speaking to some of the very experienced local gaming event orgnanizers a while ago.
we will be improving the website from time to time so it is highly appreciated that if you all can give your valuable feedback and suggestions on our forums.
below is some screen-shots of the site:

the LITE version only supports Single Elimination, we will be getting Double-Elim and Round Robin soon.
for bracket sloting, there are 3 options.
1. Auto Seeding
2. Manual
3. Random
and we also support handicapped bracket, seeded team will automatically walk over the first round.
for more feature, you can experience it by yourself.

Sample bracket generated based on past tournaments

This can help to provide education or reference to newbie ? I suggest we try to transfer our previous imba tournament into this i-tourney Tutorial and basic explanation of general tourney concepts/terms would be good to make it accessible to newbie users, i.e. school and college level tournaments.
And it seems limited to knockout type tournaments alone. Would be helpful to add non-knockout type tournaments (winners fight winners, losers fight losers to provide an overall ranking at the end of the whole tournament). I've organized a lot of chess tournaments which were a pain in the ass to match manually. I'm sure plenty of school committees feel the same. winner fight winner , loser fight loser , that's what we called "double elimination" , and it will be available soon, so as Round Robin.
Round Robin is something like a League type of tournament, you fight everyone in the group and winner get 3 points, loser 0 points and 1 point for both if draw. Bracket for IMBALanC Tournament Season 1 has been transfered.
There are still graphical glitches to be fixed and usability improvements needed but generally it is a handy bracket generation system especially when it comes to inputing teams and arranging teams' seeding. Demo of Widget that you can include in your blog or website:
