Price does make a difference. Now that Sony decided to drop its price of PS3 (Slim), the console should start gaining strength.

I think is mainly because of the price for Xbox and PS3 are much costly than Wii... Plus, Wii is the first consoles that introduce movement detect controller so no doubt that Wii is much more better than PS3 and Xbox in game interaction... And I think Wii's game are cheaper than Xbox games too... That is why most people go for Wii rather Xbox or PS3...
