If you’ve been waiting for Google Android 2.0 and above devices to come to Malaysia because you can’t wait to get your hands on the free turn-by-turn navigation on Google Maps, then wait no more, because you can get yourself a FREE version of Nokia Ovi Maps that unlike Google Maps, you don’t even need to pay for data charges to load a map! This is no rumour (although it was just an hour or so ago), Nokia has officially announced that Ovi Maps will be free, forever, so if you’re using a Nokia phone with GPS, check out the download link at http://www.nokia.com/maps. As I am typing this now, yes, I’m downloading the new version of Ovi Maps for my phone.
