[Guides & Supports] help with riger DB102 modem

Hey, can anyone help me with this stupid modem. I am currently using Riger DB102 modem and it really sucks. Firstly it keeps auto dc but the weird this is when im playing game they write there 'you have left ucpro' but I can still cont playing and then later on relog because the connection is lost. Everytime after a game I have to relog.

2nd problem is this modem can't host game. As I am using a Linksys router with this modem, I made all the settings correctly for portforwarding but it just doesn't work.( I definitely know how to do portforwarding)  Anyone with any clues or suggestiin?

You're lucky.I suffer from the problem for 1 year before i know how to solve it.It is irritating right?

Firstly,go to 192.168.1.1 and go to this page.Set the TCP Idle Timeout(sec) to 9999.Then you wont dc anymore.

Secondly,regarding hosting...sigh...it's hardcore work to deal with.Seriously i'm lazy to talk about it.Will update the guide to you when i'm free.At least now you can whisper your friends during games or use the server commands like /p. Post Last Edit by Sola at 30-1-2010 00:02

if you use linksys on db102, you need to port forward using linksys router... so is the setting above i suppose...

Regarding port forwarding you need to forward the correct ports which is shown in warcraft options menu. Also, you have to add a rule to your modem firewall (if it has) and windows firewall. Antivirus programs are known to block them too.

hey sola~ thanks for your help it really did work. Really suck to have this modem eh. Any other good advice with this modem on how to set it so that it does not suck so much? =) and may i know what is ur encapsulation mode?

Is it PPOELLC? thanks for the help so far. yeah at least i can /p and whisper already. cheers

sry guys ... i have a very stupid question....
i'm using db102 also and i have the same stupid problem....
and i have an even bigger problem now......i don't c the page that i can do such settings....y is it eh...anyone pls help!!!

hey. try to find your modem ip. by default it should be 192.168.1.1   ( type this on your browser)
or if it is not got to--->run --->type cmd ---> type ipconfig /all
thus you should be able to find your modem ip
